HIKING/MOUNTAIN AND ROAD BIKING/CROSS COUNTRY SKIING/SNOWSHOEING/RUNNING
Friendly Lodge staff will help you pick the perfect trails for your Methow Valley adventure. To the north, south, east and west are hundreds of miles of groomed trails for all skill levels and appetites.
Loup Loup ski hill is ten minutes from the Ranch. Skiing at the Loup is terrific fun and the friendly staff will always make you feel welcome. Loup Loup has a quad lift, a Poma lift, and a rope tow serving 10 cut runs on Little Buck Mountain at all skill levels. Tubing and luging on the incredible new luge run are also great ideas! Winthrop, with its eclectic Western themed boardwalk and boutique shops, is a great starting point for shopping adventures. Winthrop is 10 miles from the Ranch along Highway 20. The town of Twisp, fewer than three miles from the Ranch, supports a host of artists in metal, wood, ceramic, fabric and other media. Want to shop as a couple or a group in style? Engage our car service and be driven by Chevy Tahoe (up to 5 guests), our mint condition 1962 Pontiac convertible (up to 3 guests) or our 1989 Cadillac six-door town car (up to 8 guests).
Gamble Sands, Washington State’s #1 best Public Course, is an hour to the south above the Columbia River. We are happy to arrange your tee time and provide you with directions, directions and a picnic lunch, or a driver and lunch to make your trip extra special. There is also local public course golfing within ten minutes of the Lodge.
