Local Ingredients Freshly Prepared

At the Twisp Terrace Lodge, we strive to source our menus locally and organically, and also to prepare meals from absolutely fresh ingredients.  Whenever possible, we use fruit and vegetables from our Ranch orchards and gardens, or from the orchards and gardens of our neighbors.   Consequently, our menu changes from day to day, and seasonally, based on availability of foodstuffs.

Ingredients that we obtain fresh in season from our Ranch or intensely locally include:  lettuce of all kinds, spinach, kale, fennel, shishito peppers, garlic, bok choy, onions, milk, butter, cream, eggs, goat cheese, turnips, parsnips, celery, carrots, bell peppers, spicy peppers, dill, cucumbers, fifty varieties of apples (15 varieties from the Ranch alone), eating cherries, pie cherries, grapes, peaches, nectarines, melons of all kinds, squash of all kinds, plums, apricots, potatoes, many varieties of pears, farro, emmer, raspberries, strawberries, cilantro, parsley, rosemary, sage, and other herbs, mushrooms of many varieties, trout, sometimes lamb, pork, bacon, chicken (but not our Ranch chickens!), beef (ditto!), alfalfa-fed locally harvested venison (er. . . .), cider, both alcoholic and the juicebox kind, wine, honey, and much more.  Our baked goods are made with organic flour sustainably grown and milled in Eastern Washington.  It is fun and tasty to cook with local ingredients!

Dining at the Twisp Terrace Lodge

We are saddened to let you know that the Twisp Terrace Lodge will not be offering dinner of any kind this summer and until further notice.  We have received a series of conflicting messages from the regulatory authorities with respect to our restaurant, and after working through various options we have determined that it is not fair to either our guests or our staff to add to the unfortunate confusion.  Our first and primary goal is for our guests and staff to be safe and comfortable.

We will continue to offer our pastry service at 8 AM and hot breakfast at 9 AM.  We will also offer drinks and have snacks available in the evenings.

On your arrival we will provide you with a list of open local restaurants (we are only 3 miles from Twisp).

We enjoy our five-course dinner service and are sorry to see it go away, even temporarily.  We also apologize to those of you who have made dinner reservations with us for this summer.

Thank you, and please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.

Be safe and see you soon!

Set Table

Three days a week, from Thursday through Saturday, we offer a casual fine dining experience in our Lodge restaurant, The Veranda for Lodge guests only.  Dinner is a Prix-Fixe menu with a seating at 6:00 PM each evening.  If you are not staying at the Lodge, come as early as 5:00 PM and enjoy a cocktail at the Pub!

Reservations are always required.  We attempt to give priority to Lodge guests in our busy seasons, so if you are staying at the Lodge and wish to dine with us please let us know as far in advance as possible so that we have the best chance of holding a place for you.

The Prix-Fixe menu offers many courses with a choice of starters, main courses, and desserts.  The menu rotates and changes weekly.

Because we are an eleven-room hotel, we can usually and happily accommodate your special requests if you give us enough advance notice.   Vegetarian, Gluten-Free, and Vegan options are always available.

We know that traveling out in the dark to dine is often the last thing you want to do after a day on the slopes or traveling through the mountains.  We promise you will not go hungry!  On Sunday through Wednesday evenings in the winter, and whenever the Pub is open but The Veranda is not offering its Prix-Fixe menu, and in emergencies when you are extra hungry, we offer our Pub Service Menu.  Visit us at the Pub, flag down a staff member, or call/text us and let us know your wishes.
